First Bricks Exhibition in CITYU, Hong Kong
Legend Bricks, a new Bricks Creation Group, is holding an exciting new exhibition organized by the War and Adventure Games Society of City University of Hong Kong. The first university bricks exhibition, containing works from over 15 brick creation designers, explores the new direction of Hong Kong Bricks Creation. In addition to the Classic City Creation, the exhibition includes about 100 works, ranging from fantasy to Sci-fi, military and comics’ creations. In conjunction with the exhibition, Legend Bricks will provide tour guided by members for organization and school.
Bricks Adventure 2010 will start Jan. 27 to Feb. 12, 2010. The exhibition is accompanied by detailed descriptions of spotlighted creations. Bricks Creation gained international recognition in the early 2000s with diverse MOC (My Own Creation) and online groups, seen on forums and websites around the world where Brick Creators have shown the potential of Bricks creations. Since then, members of Legend Bricks started to create their own MOCs. They have joined different exhibitions held by different local Bricks interest groups in the past few years, and organized their own show, Bricks Adventure, last year. Compared to other exhibitions held in Hong Kong previously, Bricks Adventure provides diverse topics of MOC by Hong Kong Lego players and the concepts behind their creation.
